[Neptune's Bounty, The Fighting McDonagh's] Bar Brawl

Shit, shit, SHIT. Things were going to hell, and fast. John had already beat the one man who tried to mess with him, and now he had Fontaine's men on his ass. Thinking quickly, I pulled out my chain. Long, trusty, but unwieldy, I readied a quick lash towards the men's wrists. Not enough to seriously harm them, as I was as good as dead if I did.
((Remember, my character is Ryan's man. If they hate Alan, they must see me as the prime antagonist of life.))
Lashing out fast, I aimed for the wrists of Fontaine's men first. A direct hit, for the most part. I had hit the wrists of a few, and the forearm of another. They dropped their guns, except for one, who was now grappling with Alan. Swinging my chain once more, I aimed for Alan's knife. A fight here, now, would be the worst thing that could happen. If Alan killed anyone, Ryan would try to recruit him. Alan evidently did not want to join sides with anyone. If Alan refused Ryan, I knew he would be as good as dead with Ryan as his enemy.

Hoping for good providence, I lashed out once more, towards Alan's knife. Scoring a lucky, direct hit Alan's knife clattered to the floor. Swiftly, I dropped my chain and tried to seperate the two brawling men. Pushing Fontaine's man away, I pulled Alan up and smacked him once to try and rid him of the bloodlust I had witnessed seconds before.

"God damnit, you stupid fu**ing idiot, do you want to DIE?? All your going to do with your moronic fu**ing fights is get us both killed, you hear me? We came for drinks, and by god we will get them! Sit the fu** down, and let me try and stop Fontaine's men from slitting your throat in your sleep!"

Shoving Alan back a bit, I hoped to god he wouldn't do anything stupid...

My heart softening at his whispered plea, I took a small glance at Fontaine's slowly advancing men. Wiping a bit of sweat off my brow, I composed myself enough to stand up and turn around. Walking towards the henchmen, I announce before I reach them "Hold on fellas. Let's both get rid of our weapons, then let's discuss this matter like real men." Grumbling, but complying, Fontaine's thugs pulled out various objects. I, myself, snatched up my chain from the ground, rattled it in the thugs general direction, and set it by my table. From behind me, I could hear Al gulp. Patting my chest, I show them I am unarmed. Moving towards them, I greet them as warmly as I possibly could. Inside, I was screaming with tension and anxiety. "So fellas, let me apologize for what my friend here did. He has been having a pretty rough day, and he got a bit out of control. Please excuse his behavior. He has a pretty bad past, and he just...please, forgive him." The mobsters grunted. Gulping once more, but silently, I take a deep breath. "Here, let me get you fellas some drinks, and I'll compensate you for any troubles you may have had." Nodding their approval, I toss them some money. "Thanks for understanding, pals. Sorry again for the trouble..."

God, I sounded so stupid. Pals? What the hell? Thinking on this, I sit down once more. "Well, I'm just glad they didn't totally beat the shit out of us."

Surprised, but hiding it, I narrow my eyes towards him. I felt a joke building up...

"Long as you don't explode at me, I won't steal your wallet." Feeling slightly remorseful, I add "Kidding, kidding. If you truly need to join with Ryan, I just might be able to help you out." Staring at the worn wooden table, I begin to rattle my fingertips in a slightly tribal beat. "Alright, I guess you had better stick with me as long as your house isn't safe."
