Subject: Pete Bondurant Tue Apr 07, 2009 1:00 am
Name – Pete Bondurant
Age – 45, in 1957
Gender -- male
Topside home – upstate NY, American mother and French-Canadian father
Occupation – cook
Alignment – Fontaine
Appearance – tall, stout, muscular, tattooed. Short hair, clean-shaven. Pete's skin is red-tinged and appears to shimmer from his use of the Human Inferno tonic.
Background – Pete was abandoned by his father at a young age and raised by his mother. At 16 he left home to join the navy, where he learned to cook. After discharge he returned home and took a job as a cook at All-American Diner, part of a chain of diners that was just beginning to expand until the Depression. Pete kept his job through the hard times and became friendly with most of the customers, all working-class people.
When the war came the All-American Diner chain began to expand again. The owner, a Mr. McDonald, became a wealthy tycoon and a friend of America's greatest captain of industry, Andrew Ryan. When Ryan formulated his plan to build Rapture, he invited McDonald to relocate his business there, free from the heavy taxes and regulations of the US.
McDonald saw that Rapture would have a large American population and that many of them would miss the traditional American diner. He quietly sold off all his diners, and when Rapture opened he relocated there, with fewer restaurants but charging more for food that Americans could only get topside. McDonald invited a few of his former employees to follow him, based on the recommendations of their former bosses, and Pete was known as an honest and hard-working employee. Since he would be out of a job if he stayed, Pete decided to go to Rapture to cook hamburgers. Even supermen gotta eat, right?
For many years, Rapture was a paradise to Pete. But then a terrible thing happened. Pete's left hand was badly burned in a grease fire. Despite the best efforts of the doctors in the Medical Pavilion, the nerve damage was too great and the left hand became useless. Reluctantly, Mr. McDonald told Pete that he had no need for a one-handed cook when there were two-handed ones available, and Pete was sacked. Overnight, he became the most odious thing in Rapture: a parasite.
Pete struggled to survive, doing whatever odd jobs he could manage with one hand. One night a week, he was paid a few dollars to wipe down tables and collect drink glasses at the Fighting McDonaghs bar in Neptune's Bounty. One of the fishermen there gave him a Bible. Pete began reading it and took comfort from the stories he read in it.
When Fontaine's Home For the Poor opened, Pete was almost overcome with joy. Fontaine gave him a cot and three meals a day, and Pete was ready to give him his life. There were no “parasites” at the Home, just unlucky people ground down by Ryan's cruel philosophy – that's what Fontaine said. Pete finally started to regain his dignity.
One day Fontaine took Pete aside. They talked for a long time. Fontaine revealed that he planned to open a war against Ryan, to take down the dictator by force. But he would need tough soldiers on his side, men and women who would sacrifice everything to win. Was Pete one of those men? Fontaine asked. Pete said that he was.
Fontaine injected Pete with something. It was a real kick from a mule, but when it was over Pete found that he had been transformed. His left hand, burned to uselessness in a fire, could now shoot fire with a snap of his fingers. When the day came for Fontaine to open the war, Pete would be ready.

im kind of new to this rping thing so, sry Judas but im going to copy your way of introduce yourself..if you dont mind.
My name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex , or Zander.
Bioshack has to be one of my top 5 games of all time...It's my first
I have some rping exp. from redwolf.freeforums.org..but not much
Top Game(s) of all time (for me)

2.Gutiar Hero/Rock …
My name is Matthew, but you can call me Matt, or Judas.
I have been scarred for life by Bioshock. It is probably the best game ever created.
I also like Guitar Hero/Rock Band, Fallout 3, Halo, Maple Story, and various other games.
I have a question.
Where is the Paradise Lost roleplay?
I'm starving so I'll get to the point;
New here, found this website thanks to youtube. (Yes, someone has indeed advertised this website on youtube), and decided to check it out.
RP History: Been in a couple of websites but due to people having "God Mode" like abilities; I decided to stop RPing for a while.
Big fan of Bioshock and can't wait for the next one.
