Background: Born in Rapture Joey learnt everything he knows from books by people like Elliot Ferral and so has come to have a great respect for this man despite having never met him. He spliced his first plasmid, Incinerate, at the age of eighteen (It was a birthday present from his mother) and so is relatively new to the world of Plasmids and Tonics, despite having had a gun since he was sixteen and he took it from the hands of some junkie who attacked him in the fighting McDonohaugh Tavern.He makes money by a as he puts it "unorthadox" way-to be frank he's a theif. His parents had a nice house in the Arcadia District until Ryan had his father murdered and nearly all of his belongings re-possed. Due to this he has grown up on the streets until he moved into Fontaines Home For The Poor and so is constantly looking for the reason his father was murdered and a chance to get in with Fontaine. Surprisingly he is a massive fan of reading and has been since his father gave him his first book, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Raynd, at the age of nine since then he has read nearly all of her novels and is a great fan of the author Elliot Ferral. His only other distinguishing feature is a scar across his chest a parting gift from the same junkie he stole the gun from before, the junkie, was arrested by Rapture Security officer Nathan Kowalski.
